Greening the Climate, Greening the Local

Greening the Climate, Greening the Local was realised as part of the Grant Programme Enhancing Required Joint Efforts on Climate Action, funded jointly by the Republic of Turkey and the European Union.

The Project aimed to build capacity on modelling and developing policies regarding climate change mitigation and climate adaptation. We conducted three Climate School training sessions in Bornova, Izmir to increase capacities of local actors and activists on the issue. In June 2018, we had a partners’ meeting with wide participation where we had various training activities towards these same ends. Details of the project were uploaded to the Bornova Municipality website for the access of the local community at large.
