ABOUT US

We founded the Green Thought Association in 2009 with the aim of widening the reach of green thought and green policies. Our work encompasses national and international campaigns.

POLICIES

By putting nature first, the Green Thought Association conducts activities to develop policy proposals that consider sustainability, the rights of future generations and all living things, ecosystem balance, the rights and needs of all different identities and local communities, and disadvantaged segments.

It attempts to improve the competence and efficiency of the target group segments in their fields of work by learning from one another through training activities.

It aims to strengthen stakeholder bases and increase capacity in the field by disseminating information through conferences, seminars and panels.

Creates participative, equitable, and local policy suggestions that make green policies accessible to all.

It runs campaigns and advocacy actions because it believes in the power of communities and citizens.

It establishes collaboration, partnerships, and advocacy actions with local governments, public institutions, political structures, and other actors and stakeholders to create, change, and develop policies that defend public and environmental rights.

It values diversity, regardless of gender, color, religious beliefs, nationality, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, age, marital status, or disability, and bases all of its activities on the principles of equality and non-discrimination.
